Indoor Track Opportunities!

Starting Monday, January 8th we will be having opportunities for the men’s track team to start some preseason conditioning.  We will be following a Monday, Wednesday, (pool day), and Friday schedule at school, with a variety of activities planned to help us prepare for the 2018 season. May 27th 9th Grade County Championships at Milford H.S. 2nd Place tie – 48pts. Back to back meets for the coaches, and back to back success! Regional May 19th 3rd Place – 73.83 pts. The Dragons had one Regional Champion, Junior Tyler Skibicki in the 110m High Hurdles, and had two others qualify for the State Meet in two weeks. The Men’s Track and Field Team won their 6th straight OAA Red League Championship last night, with a 5 point victory over second place Oxford! Men’s Track 3rd at Algonac Relays

Algonac Muskrat Relays LO – 3rd Place Again the pole vaulters led the way, each jumping a personal best. Senior Captain Greg Maki, Senior Eric Hoffman, and Sophomore Zach Dinverno combining their jumps to take 1st Place. And the Shuttle Hurdle race, with Tyler Skibicki, Thomas Moreman, Channing Wan and Mitchell Duffy were also victorious.

Men’s Track Undefeated in OAA Red!

The Men’s Track team completed their duel meet season undefeated with their 74.5-53.5 victory over Rochester Adams.  They have been undefeated in the OAA Red for six years running! Saturday, April 29th Ashley Relays 2nd Place – 50 pts. 19 schools      A true relay event were three Field Event entries are combined to determine the winner of that event. In the Pole Vault the Dragons, Greg Maki, Zach Dinverno, and Eric Hoffman placed 2nd, 3rd and 5th to combine for the win.
