It was the match of the season determining the OAA Red Division championship between two of the highest ranked teams on Thursday night @ Collier Lanes. With Lake Orion ranked 2nd and Oxford ranking 3rd in the state we were in for one exciting match.
The Dragons were on fire staring off their first baker game throwing their 2nd 300 game of the season. They kept up the momentum with the 2nd Baker game bowling a 210 to Oxford’s 174 putting the dragons off to a good start up 10 points going into the regular match game play.
In game one of match play Grace Tefend added a point with her 212 and Cheyenne Washington added a point with her 220. Unfortunately, this is would be the last 2 points earned by the Dragons. The Wildcats were in the zone on Thursday and each of their players bowled really well beating the Dragons 18 – 12.
Congratulations to the Lake Orion Dragons on being the only Michigan Girls Bowling team to throw two 300 baker games!
