Lady Dragons stun Wolves, stay unbeaten in OAA Red

Lake Orion came from behind to defeat Clarkston in volleyball action on Tuesday, to stay unbeaten in league play and put the Lady Dragons (26-8, 4-0 OAA Red) in the league driver’s seat. Lake Orion rallied after being down two sets to one, plus overcame a 13-8 deficit in the final set to win 27-25,

Dragons upset Warriors in physical football battle

Lake Orion’s varsity football team exemplified what the mantra “Orion Tough” means on both sides of the ball last Friday in an impressive victory over Southfield A&T, 21-14.  The upset win improved the Dragons’ record to 3-2 (3-1 OAA Red) and, more importantly, improved the team’s path to the state playoffs with four games left.
