Dragons News · LOHS Boys Water Polo starts the season 3-1 in tournament!

Boasting an impressive roster of 23 players, the Dragons took to the water at Troy High School to open the 2019 season.  Facing four opponents from across the state, the Dragons won three games and lost one.   The returning members were joined by many new players, consisting of five Clarkston players, four 8th graders, three LOHS freshmen, and an LOHS junior. The first week of practice was spent teaching new team members the basics of water polo and they picked up the skills quickly as evidenced by their teamwork during the weekend tournament. Led by new head coach Kyrstin Sheridan and assistant coach Brock Stieb (LOHS ’17), the team will host its first tournament Friday, Aug 23 and Saturday, Aug 24.  The Dragons will be in the pool at 4pm and 6:45pm on Friday and at 9:00 am, 11:45 am, 2:30 pm and 4:20 pm on Saturday! Please join us at the LOHS natatorium for a weekend of fast paced water polo action!
